I’m incredibly excited – and slightly terrified – to announce that I’ll be speaking at TEDx Eastgate at Gloucester Guildhall on 20th September 2026.
For someone whose career and life have taken me from diplomacy and war zones to policing, resilience work and some very unexpected chapters along the way, standing on a TEDx stage feels like a pretty significant milestone.
I can’t tell you too much about the talk itself. Partly because I don’t want to spoil it, and partly because TEDx has some fairly firm rules about giving the game away beforehand.
But I can tell you that it’s personal, it’s something I care deeply about, and it has been shaped by both my own journey and the city I now call home.
And no – I really won’t be talking about Fred and Rose West. 😉 (well not much).
For me, this talk represents something bigger than a speaking opportunity. It’s a chance to look back at where I started, recognise just how far I’ve come, and share something I genuinely believe is worth putting out into the world.
I’d love you to join me and 11 other speakers at Gloucester Guildhall for an incredible evening.
Come curious. Leave with something to think about.
