Hi I’m Caroline – “The Resilience Guide”
I’ve helped thousands of busy, tired people at risk of being overwhelmed. People who often work in challenging and stressful environments. I work with people who suspect their low energy, lack of patience and minor ailments may be stress related, and help them begin to understand that “self-care” isn’t “self-ish”. I support them to feel like themselves again.
I do this work because I have walked the path of rebuilding my own resilience and rediscovering my energy, after exposure to trauma and burnout in the workplace – both in the police and as a British Diplomat operating in conflict zones – (and also as a mum!) And I am passionate about sharing what I have learnt, and supporting others in a unique way that works for them and is fit for our modern world.
With a unique blend of warmth, expertise, and strategic insight, I empower both individuals and organisations to navigate the complexities of modern life with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
My award-winning services – spanning one-to-one coaching and mentoring for individuals to dynamic, bespoke group programs – are delivered both online and in person. I work with Advisory Boards, senior leaders and front-line teams alike, ensuring that every individual feels supported and equipped to flourish.
I am an experienced University Lecturer and trainer, but I don’t just teach resilience; I live it. Having walked the path of recovery and growth from challenges – like burnout in the police, grief and abuse in my personal life, and working in conflict zones as a British Diplomat – I bring deep empathy and authenticity to my work. With hundreds of glowing testimonials from those I’ve supported, I’m proud to have transformed lives through my unwavering commitment to excellence.
As your trusted guide, I help you or your organisation build not just resilience but the confidence to rise stronger, no matter what life throws at you.

MY JOURNEY
Everyone has their unique journey. My physical journey has seen me make my home across several continents. I’ve worked across many sectors – including diplomacy, wellbeing and in the emergency services. For a while I specialised in “conflict zones”. I’ve made friends with people from all corners of the world. My journey has been full of adventure, creativity, love and joy, but it has also included a good look at the worst in life: of danger; of abuse and hurt; of trauma; of controlling & coercive relationships; of discrimination; of loneliness; of conflict; and of deep grief.
On my journey, I have mentored fellow senior leaders; delivered healing to cancer patients, guided police officers and staff to be mindful in the forest; and helped people understand their response to exposure to trauma. Whilst this offered comfort and relief, I felt that it didn’t quite go far enough in resolving things for people. I applied similar wellbeing approaches to myself – but they were no match for a relentless workload and the challenges of life in the 2020s.
Like many of life’s givers, I reached the point where I finally burnt out and acknowledged that I needed to work on myself in order to better help others. I know if I am happy, healthy and at peace, I will be a better mother, partner, daughter, friend and even worker. But I was so busy being all these things, that I had little time to work on myself. I just thought I had to keep going – I felt guilty stopping, despite noticing I had begun to change into a less resilient, less fun, and frankly more cynical version of myself.
LIFE AFTER BURN OUT
I have read many wise words, written from the past, mostly by men living in a different time and a faraway place. Much has made a lot of sense – I love Reiki, Qigong, Tai Chi, and Somatic Yoga – yet much also missed the mark and didn’t quite resonate with me. Whilst I truly loved some of the practices I learnt – I somehow felt like I was acting. Like it wasn’t REALLY me. It didn’t go deep enough. How could I truly connect with something with roots so distant? Through my own journey, I discovered all the solutions I needed responded to modern life and were internal ones.

Once I had calmed the waters with a little space around me, I cleared my mind enough to have a rethink and reframe. This time I knew that I needed a fix for myself that would be long lasting. I needed to work on myself from the ground up, and get it right this time. I didn’t want to break again – and I wanted to be strong, happy, and healthy – so I can help others, but also to live a complete life. I found a genuine way that works and really connects me to an unbreakable path. Rather than carry on with activities that superficially make me feel better, but don’t dig deep enough, I am on a path that properly resolves things like emotional blockages; trapped historical trauma; or negative self belief, that is at the root of healing myself.
A UNIQUE UNBREAKABLE PATH
Having found the unbreakable path and built my own resilience – the real joy is sharing this with others, and watching them thrive, through my 12 week resilience program and 1-2-1 personal coaching.
Each one of us will have had their own set of highs and lows, of thrills and sadness, of love and loss. How can one size fit all? How can 1000 year old remedies be applied to the masses, fix the causes of modern world problems for a single individual? I’ve come to learn through my own resilience path – that the strongest and unbreakable path is the internal one. Our body keeps note of every experience too – creating a map of resilience solutions unique to us.
As one of life’s givers – my calling and my passion is to support you in navigating that path.
Thank you for reading about my journey – I am very excited at the prospect of supporting you on yours.
