ROOT CAUSE THERAPY
WHY DO I NEED AN INITIAL CONSULTATION BEFORE BOOKING ROOT CAUSES? This is a light conversation to check whether this type of therapy is suitable for you. Root Cause Therapy is a deep, transformational practice, but it is not for everyone. An initial Zoom consultation will understand your level of commitment; whether you are undergoing any other therapies; and provide you with a deeper understanding of what is involved and how many sessions you are likely to need. CAN I DO ROOT CAUSES THERAPY IF I HAVE PTSD? Yes you can – Caroline is a trauma-informed therapist, but it is important for any Root Cause Therapist to understand if you are having other therapies and what your triggers and resourcing techniques may be. Know that your unconscious mind will not go anywhere it doesn’t feel safe.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A ROOT CAUSES THERAPY SESSION? You will be asked about your feelings and emotions and your limiting beliefs will be assessed using muscle or “sway” testing. For the healing part of the session the therapist will connect with your unconscious mind and release beliefs that no longer serve you.
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTERWARDS? You may feel lighter, have more clarity or “knowing” about situations and yourself. Clients have said they feel a new sense of freedom and understanding and experience a deep relaxation. You may continue to integrate this new perspective or “shift” for days or weeks after a session. Some people find journaling or quiet reflection helpful. I provide an “Integration meditation” recording to help with processing.
REIKI HEALING
WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-hovering) relaxation practice that supports the body and mind to settle into a calmer state. It is designed to encourage rest, balance, and a sense of inner ease. Many people experience it as deeply relaxing and restorative. You’ll remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on your back or front – or both. In person, I place my hands lightly on or just above specific areas of the body in a calm, quiet environment. There is no massage or physical manipulation. Sessions are peaceful and non-intrusive. For distance session I use my voice more and connect mentally/spirituall guiding your own self healing.
WHAT MIGHT I FEEL? Experiences vary. Some people feel warmth, tingling, or gentle sensations. Others feel very relaxed or even fall asleep. Many see colours, textures or visions. Occasionally, thoughts or emotions may surface as the body settles. There is no “right” way to experience Reiki – your body responds in its own way.
DO I NEED TO “BELIEVE” FOR IT TO WORK? No particular belief is required. Reiki is simply an opportunity to pause, rest, and allow your nervous system to soften. You are welcome to approach it with curiosity and openness.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF REIKI? People often report: Deep relaxation; Reduced stress and tension; Improved sleep; Greater clarity and calm; A stronger sense of connection to themselves
IS REIKI SAFE? Reiki is considered a gentle and low-risk practice. It is non-invasive and can be adapted to your comfort level. If you have any health concerns, you are welcome to discuss them before your session.
CAN REIKI BE DONE ONLINE? Yes. Distance Reiki sessions are offered in a similar way, with you resting comfortably in your own space while I guide the session remotely. Many people find online sessions just as calming and beneficial.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED? This varies for each person. Some people book a single session for relaxation, while others choose a series to support ongoing wellbeing or personal development. You are always in choice about what feels right for you.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE SESSION? You may wish to allow yourself time to rest, hydrate, and move gently back into your day. Some people find journaling or quiet reflection helpful.
INTEGRATED RESONANCE THERAPY
WHAT IS INTEGRATED RESONANCE THERAPY? This therapy is a unique healing approach developed by Caroline Jaine. It combines her experience as a meditation guide, with sound therapy and energy healing. It involves light touch healing; gongs, chimes; tuning forks and other gentle stimulating and relaxing sounds; and the spoken word.
WHAT MIGHT I FEEL? Many feel warmth, tingling, or gentle sensations. Others feel very relaxed, calm, balanced and many fall asleep completely. Many see colours, textures or visions.
